MEET THE FOODIE

Also in Birmingham for event organisers is the open day at venuebirmingham, held on Friday October 9 in the Great Hall at the University of Edgbaston.

This runs from 12.00 midday to 2.00pm and features lunch, an exhibition of suppliers to venuebirmingham and a talk about the food industry in the 21st century by food critic, journalist and broadcaster Jay Rayner.
