The famous Glastonbury Festival could be moving 15 miles west, from Worthy Farm, Pilton, Somerset to Longleat, Wiltshire in 2019.
The organisers, who only own part of the site say that this makes the future of the show less certain, and that there are concerns that a mains gas pipe that runs through the site could be fractured under the strain of 250,000 revellers.
The 9,000 acre (3642 hectares) Longleat site comprises the house of the Marquis of Bath, a safari park and a Center Parcs holiday village with facilities for corporate events of up to 500.
Meanwhile Glastonbury Festivals Ltd have been ordered to pay £31,000 after twenty thousand gallons of human sewage leaked from a steel container tank into a four kilometre stretch of Whitelake river in 2014, polluting the water and killing fish.
