Those, like us, who prefer a map to satnav and looking to visit the Woodland Grange residential events centre near Leamington Spa are referred to the excellent Phillips Street Atlas of Birmingham and West Midlands where the location is clearly marked just off the roundabout at the junction of the A452 and the B4113, around 1.5 miles North of Leamington Spa centre, and just South of the village of Blackdown.

Set in 16 acres of parkland, with the motorway network of the M6/M40/M42/M69 all within a 20-minute drive, this offers 114 modern, spacious and airy bedrooms, all with baths and showers and breaking down into 102 doubles, five twins and seven singles. All have tea and coffee facilities, ironing facilities, 32″ flat screen HD TVs, data points, telephone and free 100MB Wi-Fi.

For events there are 28 meetings spaces, all with air-conditioning, soundproofing, natural light and blackout facilities, touch screen in room computers, data projectors, DVD and audio technology and free 100MB Wi-Fi, with whiteboards, stationery, flip-charts, phones and refreshments all included as standard. Room capacities, all theatre-style are two at 200, one at 100, two at 90, two at 80, one at 51, two at 40, three at 36, one at 30 and one at 20. In addition there are 13 boardrooms for 12 boardroom style. Outside marquees can be erected for more capacity and the car-park holds up to 280 cars.
